A) I LOVE your new header!!
ReplyDeleteand B) What a new GREAT series! (later, looking through your archives, I see it's not so new -- what great stuff!) 'Sexiest scenes in film history'...why didn't I think of that? :)
I had eventually planned to start a 'best kisses in film history' series, but pictures of people actually kissing are kinda hard to come by (though I guess pictures aren't always necessary...).
As for Teacher's Pet: I've seen part of it...I remember Doris Day walking past him in a nightclub, and I think he checked out her backside then, too. :)
Thanks Ginger! I wanted something summer-y.
ReplyDeleteMy site gets the most traffic from the Sexiest Scenes in Film History series although I really haven't been doing much with it lately. I definitely want to revive it. I love your idea for best kisses, but I understand the picture-dilemna. I get a lot of mine from freeze-framing on my laptop.
Yes, there is a LOT of derriere-oggling in Teacher's Pet. A LOT. Even I was shocked.
Haven't seen that one, but the pic and caption do say a lot. Still, my vote for sexiest ever would be Bacall getting a light (and cigarette) from Bogart in "To Have and Have Not."
ReplyDeleteYoga - Well this isn't the Sexiest of all scenes. It's just part of my collection of many sexy scenes in film history. It's a series I have going.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the To Have and Have Not scene. That's quite smoldering. My all-time favorite one is Norma Shearer's "c'mon put em around me" line in A Free Soul.
