James Garner and Lois Fleishman Clarke
Married 55 years and counting
James Garner and Lois Fleishman Clarke met in 1956 at a political rally. They married two weeks after meeting and have been married ever since. In Garner's memoir, The Garner Files, he says
"It was love at first sight. The 'thunderbolt.' She was as beautiful as she was sweet... I was nuts about her from the moment we met. Still am."
I especially approve of this one! :) What a great love story.
