New Blog Feature!

I thought to myself, why not take my obsessive Facebook status-updating compulsion and tie it into my blog? So thus, I started a new feature called "Newsreel ~ What I'm Up To Now". I'll just provide little snippets of what's going on in my personal world. And maybe I'll add some random thoughts. I promise to keep it all classic film-related (and amusing). Check it out on the sidebar!

  1. Goodness...that reminds me: I haven't been by Facebook in forever. :(

You're much better at all that than I am. I'm too shy for anything that doesn't require me to write. It's the only way I know how to properly socialize online...write something, people read it, make friends with 'em, etc. :)

I just can't imagine talking to anyone I went to high school or college with. They probably all think I'm dead by now. ;)

Trying to remember if I've seen THE HOLLYWOOD REVUE OF 1929 or not, so I can say "In yo' face!" too. :)

And while viewing your sidebar, I noticed in your poll over there, WHERE THE SIDEWALK ENDS isn't 1954, it's 1950. Not to nit-pick or anything...You know I have Dana's filmography memorized like Bible Verse! ;)

Interesting header, by the way (if I haven't already mentioned it...). Kinda reminds me of that final scene in ALL ABOUT EVE...the multiple mirrors, I guess.

Is it from MRS. P(something) LIVED FOR A DAY?

  2. Ginger - Socializing is difficult. I was terribly shy before. It took many years of constant self-improvement to break out of that. Plus with socializing, I had to be willing to embarass myself. Which I HATE! Ahhh!

Hollywood Revue of 1929 is shown only once an eon by TCM. So if you can catch it in a few years, do so!

Thanks about catching that error. I can't fix it now that people have voted though. Blogger won't let me. Which makes sense. I could have a poll that asks "Do you like this blog?" and I could later turn all the "No" votes into "Yes". Not that I would. hee hee.

Yes the header is from Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. I L-O-V-E that movie.

    Get thee on Facebook!

Leave me a comment! If it is a long one, make sure you save a draft of it elsewhere just in case Google gobbles it up and spits it out.
