Kudos for avoiding the post office's usual fare and opting for the classic film stamps! They've always been my favorites. I came across some of the old Hattie McDaniel ones in my drawer the other day. I think I might save them, since they're not the right postage anymore anyhow. :)

Oh, so cool! My littlest brother's idol is Bob Hope, so he bought a couple of the stamps and framed them!

ReplyDeleteOh, those are great. I always was a big fan of Bob Hope, especially the "Road..." pictures. The post office also has a series of classic TV stamps out too, everything from Red Skelton to The Twilight Zone!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I usually buy multiple sheets so I can have one sheet to keep. My favorite is the Audrey Hepburn stamp! It would be awesome to see a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers stamp!
