This man was from the same town that Robert Mitchum was born in, Bridgeport, CT. I cannot remember his last name, but his first name was Augie and I think he said he was of Italian and Hungarian descent. I met him when he was on a business trip in Southern California and I was living in Sherman Oaks in the Valley. Somehow I feel he was related to Mitchum and most likely didn't know it.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6155853741712764167.post-87151544404605195232012-08-21T12:50:44.296-04:002012-08-21T12:50:44.296-04:00Did you ever see the Look-a-Like again? By the way, how was the voice of the young man?

I noticed what a Look-a-Like Cary Grant's chin is some time ago ('How do you shave in there?' I'm a London dude and strangely, tho the city is 12-million strong, if you go to the right places you see the same people over and again. Including a lady I see at the BFI (the main cinema for classic films here) who looks just like Louise Brooks. Seen her at a festival or two as well! Not got round to speaking to her ever but that black-haired bob is certainly appealing!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6155853741712764167.post-52600393607201314152008-12-23T13:50:00.000-05:002008-12-23T13:50:00.000-05:00Raquelle, I really enjoyed this little oevre. Then you remind me that they switched over to your decolletage! Hopefully, that's just a red herring. I am pretty fascinated by our look-alike, as you know. If only we could have somehow finagled a way to take his picture and have him agree to be an illustration in this blog, in addition to being a subject.

By the way, have you pondered which actors - living or dead - you would cast as your friends and acquaintances if your life were a movie? For instance, if my life were a movie, your part could be played by Rose McGowan. I also have people in my life I could see be played by people as diverse as Frances McDormand, Christina Ricci, Nicolas Cage, and of course Robert Mitchum. I would, of course, be played by the young Anthony Perkins.

Just a thought.

KevinUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00090508239022622036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6155853741712764167.post-71891677015438134662008-12-22T12:49:00.000-05:002008-12-22T12:49:00.000-05:00No one ever looks at my decolletage.
